The festival runs December 1st 2022 to 8th January 2023, hosted in live venues in Tokyo and Amsterdam, online and on SALTO 1 TV. The film selection comes to you direct from the zeitgeist of animation now, with work from young animators who are bending and blending genres, styles and techniques old and new. These voices are unusual to hear and impossible to ignore. Also featured are new short films from notable Dutch animator Paul Driessen (Yellow Submarine) and Burbank legend and character designer Charles Zembillas (Spyro The Dragon, Crash Bandicoot, Jak & Daxter, She-Ra and He-Man).
